Real Zaragoza is a Spanish football club from the city of the same name, in the province of the same name in the autonomous community of Aragon. The club was founded on March 18, 1932, and plays home matches at the Romareda stadium, which seats 34,596 spectators. Real Zaragoza have spent most of their history in La Liga, and are six-time Copa del Rey winners and winners of the 1994/95 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
Real Zaragoza was originally formed from the two clubs Iberia SC and Real Zaragoza CD in 1932 and finally made its debut after the end of the Spanish Civil War.
The club from the province of the same name reached its greatest achievements in the 1960s. At this time, famous football players played in the team and the club was able to win bronze medals in the Spanish championship, twice the Spanish Cup and the Cup of Fairs.
