Rebellion Defense is a developer of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for the United States and United Kingdom military and civil service, as well as for allies, to help solve defense challenges for government. The company's software solutions offer users a fused view of a threat environment and an understanding of adversary capabilities, along with automated orchestration and execution of operations across distributed hardware and software platforms. The solutions also offer cyber readiness to strengthen critical military assets against adversarial cyber attacks.
Rebellion Defense was founded in 2019 by CEO Chris Lynch, Nicole Camarillo, and Oliver Lewis and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. The company offers its defense and government digital software solutions to the United States and United Kingdom defense communities, along with their allies. These software solutions are developed in the context of a national security theater, which is defined by technological superiority.
Rebellion Defense offers several software solutions developed for defense and national security missions. These software solutions are developed using artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide clarity and context where they may otherwise be unclear. Further, the software is developed with an open architecture with a modular system approach to ensure it is compatible with existing hardware and software systems to ensure the military and defense agencies can integrate Rebellion's software in existing systems with ease. Further, the software is supposed to be developed with a user-centric design and engineering principle using a continuous delivery system to deliver new features and capabilities.
The Rebellion Iris is an ISR software system for intelligence analysts, developed to ensure those analysts have access to the data necessary for effective analysis of data to generate insights, especially those that can help understand adversary tactics or behaviors across a variety of INT sources. The Iris solutions deliver an on-platform AI-powered sensor fusion and tracking for near-real-time autonomous threat identification and maneuver decisions.
Rebellion's Dispatch software is developed for joint operational planning, offering dynamic tasking and planning for time-intensive processes and necessary coordination. The software solution calculates mission objectives, attributes of available assets, and environmental factors to generate optimal plan options and automatically task assets to achieve desired outcomes for the software users. Dispatch was developed in the context of the United States' Department of Defense Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) strategy, which looks to use AI to speed up operation planning and execution.
The Rebellion Nova solution is an automated adversary emulation system that works to deliver an adversarial perspective of target systems and deploys techniques used by advanced persistent threats (APTs) to compromise defense and national security systems. The Nova software uses the MITRE ATT&CK framework with additional threat intelligence to mirror adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Further, the software can evolve through running several combinations of procedures in response to a target network to properly and realistically emulate adversary behavior and cyber kill chains. The findings are then mapped to the user's network to identify the crucial parts of that network for a given mission.
