Rekky

Rekky was a social media platform that aggregated check-ins from users' Instagram, Facebook, and Foursquare accounts and provided users venue recommendations called Rekkies. These recommendations were vetted by influencers and users' friends.

Rekky users signed in to link their social media accounts to the app, which displayed their geotagged photos from other accounts in real time. They could then search for restaurants, bars, galleries, and other entertainment venues by category or by exploring using the "Discover" and "Lists" functions.

Users could follow "tastemakers" and were also encouraged to become tastemakers by curating their own personalized lists. The Rekky platform included The New Potato, Camille Becerra, Harley Viera-Newton, and The Misshapes. It was also available on Google Play and the Apple store.
