Richard Jenkins was born Richard Dale Jenkins on May 4, 1947, in DeKalb County, Illinois. He attended DeKalb High School and later graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University. Jenkins has had a successful career as an actor, known for his roles in movies such as "Flirting with Disaster", "The Humans", "Bone Tomahawk", "Hannah and Her Sisters", and "Let Me In".
His other notable works include "Nightmare Alley", "Burn After Reading", "Step Brothers", and "The Cabin in the Woods".
