Richard R. Schrock

Richard R. Schrock is a chemist from the United States born on January 4, 1945 in Berne, Indiana. He is currently employed at the University of California, Riverside, where he had also pursued his education. Schrock furthered his studies at Harvard University. He is known for his work in organic chemistry, particularly in olefin metathesis reactions.

In 2005, Richard R. Schrock was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his achievements . During his academic career, Schrock had Guillermo Bazan as one of his doctoral students.
