Richard Seymour-Conway, 4th Marquess of Hertford, was born on February 22, 1800, in England. He held citizenship in both the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Kingdom of Great Britain. Richard was educated at Exeter College, Oxford and went on to become a politician.
His parents were Francis Seymour-Conway, 3rd Marquess of Hertford, and Maria Seymour-Conway, Marchioness of Hertford. Richard Seymour-Conway had a child, Sir Richard Wallace, 1st Baronet.
The notable work that Richard Seymour-Conway, 4th Marquess of Hertford, was involved in is the Wallace Collection. He died in Paris on August 25, 1870.
