Rita Moreno (born Rosa Dolores Alverío Marcano) is a Puerto Rican singer, dancer, and actress. Born on December 11, 1931, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, Moreno holds Puerto Rican citizenship and nationality. She is best known for her work in the film, entertainment, and dance industries. Moreno was married to Leonard Gordon.
