Rivaldo, born on April 19, 1972, is a former football player from Paulista, Brazil. He later acquired Spanish citizenship. Throughout his career, Rivaldo played in several clubs, mainly in São Paulo State.
Rivaldo has three children: Rivaldinho, Isac Ferreira, and Rebeca Ferreira, as well as a foster daughter, Tamiris Borba Ferreira.
During his football career, Rivaldo received numerous awards and recognitions. Some notable awards include the Ballon d'Or, FIFA World Player of the Year, FIFA World Cup All-Star Team, La Liga Foreign Player of the Year, Copa América Golden Boot, and Copa América Best Player. He was also inducted into the Brazilian Football Museum Hall of Fame and awarded the ESM Team of the Year, World Soccer Player of the Year, and Onze d'Or titles, among other accolades.
