Robert G. Vignola, born Rocco Giuseppe Vignola, was an Italian-American screenwriter, actor, and film director. He was born on August 5, 1882, in Trivigno, Italy, and later moved to the United States, obtaining American citizenship. He passed away on October 25, 1953, in Hollywood.
Vignola directed numerous films throughout his career. Some of his notable works include Married Flirts, Rory O'More, The Siren's Reign, The Vampire's Trail, and His Official Fiancée. Other notable films directed by Vignola were Adam and Eva, Beauty's Worth, and When Knighthood Was in Flower.
