Robert I, Duke of Burgundy (1011-1076), was a monarch and duke who founded the House of Burgundy. He was born in Paris and was the son of Robert II of France and Constance of Arles. Robert I had three children: Constance of Burgundy, Hildegarde of Burgundy, and Henry, who was also known as the son of Robert I of Burgundy. Robert I died in Fleurey-sur-Ouche on March 21, 1076.
