Robert Mond (born September 9, 1867 in Farnworth, Cheshire, and died October 22, 1938 in Paris) was a person engaged in multiple occupations, including anthropologist, chemist, industrialist, and patron of the arts. He held citizenship in France and was the son of Ludwig Mond.
Mond received his education at various institutions, including the University of Edinburgh, Peterhouse, Cambridge, the University of Glasgow, and Cheltenham College. His doctoral advisor was the renowned physicist William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin.
