The company is looking to provide high-volume testing capabilities to respond to the pandemic, and has been working to bring their cobas 6800/8800 systems test to their patients as the test can perform a SARS-CoV-2 test within three to four hours. The company plans to have millions of tests available each month for the cobas 6800 and 8800 systems.
