Founded in 2007, Rocket Ventures raised $7.5 million of private funds from private investors in Ohio and a further $6 million State of Ohio Third Frontier grant.

Rocket Ventures has made investments in Active Network, Integrated Materials, Aquablok, Mithridion, ADS Biotechnology, Advanced Battery Concepts, InnerApps, DocuSphere, Roost, Satelytics, Venture Med Group, Beyond Software, and Tour de Force.

They exited their investment Tour De Force, DocuSphere, Active Network, Senforce Technologies and Integrated Materials.
