Since its founding in 2011, Rockstart has invested in more than 200 startups, which have gone on to raise more than €89 million and hire more than 700 people.

Rockstart is an accelerator in Amsterdam that focuses on helping entrepreneurs take their companies from early traction to the global market in six months. Founded 2011 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, The Netherlands by Bjorn Brekel, Don Ritzen, James Digby, Koen Wagemakers, Oscar Kneppers, and Rune Theill, it invests in seed, series A, angel, and pre-seed rounds. Its portfolio companies include Whatagraph, Unless, Sympower, Tractor Junction, and Fibersail. As of March 2020, Rockstart Accelerator has made 128 investments. Their most recent investment was on September 16, 2019 with Tractor Junction. Rockstart Accelerator has had nine exits, the most notable of which include Wercker, Syndy, and Codeplace. The company has raised a single venture fund, Fund I. This fund was announced on January 15, 2020 and raised a total of €18M.
