Rodeo Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company that develops small-molecule therapies, which are designed to enhance regeneration and repair of multiple tissues.
Rodeo Therapeutics was launched by two top researchers from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a third person who is a scientific partner. The company focuses on small molecule modulators of prostaglandin biology for promoting tissue repair and regeneration.
The company was founded based on the discoveries that were published in the peer-reviewed journal Science by three scientific founders: Sanford Markowitz, the Ingalls Professor of Cancer Genetics and Distinguished University Professor at Case Western Reserve; Stanton Gerson, interim dean of the Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and director of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center; and Joseph Ready, a biochemistry professor at the University of Texas Southwestern.
Rodeo Therapeutics has been sold to Amgen Inc., a publicly traded international biopharmaceutical company.
