Roger Nona Kingdom , born on August 26, 1962, in Vienna, Georgia , is a former sprint hurdler, athletics coach, and strength and conditioning coach from the United States . He is a citizen of the United States and currently resides in Orlando, Florida . Kingdom completed his education at the University of Pittsburgh . He is married to Mary and has three children – Jierra, Cierra, and Carina .
Over the course of his athletic career, Kingdom has won numerous awards. In 1989, he was named Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Year . He also won gold medals at the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas, Venezuela , the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, U.S. , the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea , the 1989 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Budapest, Hungary , the 1989 IAAF World Cup in Barcelona, Spain , and the 1990 Goodwill Games in Seattle, USA . Additionally, Kingdom earned a bronze medal at the 1995 World Championships in Athletics in Gothenburg, Sweden .
