The first Rolf dealership was opened in Moscow in 1991. As of January 1, 2021, the retail division included 20 retail locations.

Company development history
1991 - Sergey Petrov and his partners founded the Rolf company, specializing in taxi and car rental services (the fleet consisted exclusively of foreign cars). A few months later, Rolf was appointed as the official service partner of Mitsubishi Motors.
1992 - Rolf began selling new Mitsubishi cars. During the year, 109 cars were sold.
1995 - Opening of the second Mitsubishi dealership - "Rolf-Diamant".
1997 - Rolf began deliveries of Hyundai cars to Russia.
2004 - Rolf became a Mazda dealer. Rolf-Vostok opened on Ryazansky Prospekt (Mitsubishi and Hyundai brands). The Rolf-Khimki dealer complex was opened, which represents Ford, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Mazda.
2005 – Rolf-Altufievo (Hyundai) is opened.
2006 - Rolf opened the first Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Moscow and Peugeot in St. Petersburg.
2007 - Opening of the Rolf-Lahta dealership in St. Petersburg (Peugeot and Mazda). It features brands.
2008 - Rolf becomes the largest Mitsubishi distributor in the world. The right to distribute Mitsubishi in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was obtained. "Rolf" acquired the dealer company "Autoprime", the logistics company "Elite Trans" and the bank "Capital-Moscow".
2009 - In March, the Peugeot dealership in St. Petersburg was closed. The brand portfolio was replenished with Škoda.
2021 - In December, it became known that Klyuchavto acquired the Rolf dealer network, which became the largest deal in the history of Russian autail[47]. Also in December, the CEO of Rolf, Svetlana Vinogradova, announced in an interview with Bloomberg that the car dealer intended to enter an IPO in the second half of 2022.
