Rory McIlroy, born Rory Daniel McIlroy on May 4, 1989, is a professional golfer from Holywood, Northern Ireland. He is a citizen of the United Kingdom and is known by the nicknames "Rors" and "Wee-Mac". McIlroy is a member of both the European and PGA Tours, competing in the sport of golf.
McIlroy attended Sullivan Upper School and is the son of Gerry McIlroy and Rosie McDonald. He is also the proud father of a daughter named Poppy. Rory is currently a partner to Erica Stoll.
Through his illustrious career, McIlroy has received several accolades, including PGA Player of the Year in 2012 and 2014 and the Vardon Trophy in 2012, 2014, and 2019. He was also featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2013 and 2014.
In addition to his golf career, McIlroy has ventured into the business world. He is an investor in Kin Insurance and founder of TGL.
