Rowland Hill (1795-1879), a notable figure of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Kingdom of Great Britain, was born on December 3, 1795, in Kidderminster. Throughout his life, Hill was a teacher and a politician. He is credited with founding Canada Post. Hill passed away on August 27, 1879, in Hampstead.
