Russian singer, poet and composer Alexander Yakovlevich Rosenbaum was born on September 13, 1951 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg).
His parents were doctors, his father served as a paramedic in the artillery division during the Great Patriotic War, the war ended with the rank of captain.
Alexander Rosenbaum began to study music from the age of five. He graduated from a music school in piano, later - an evening music school in the class of jazz arrangement. The first chords of playing the guitar were his neighbor, the famous guitarist Mikhail Minin.
