German mathematical physicist
Rudolf Clausius was a German physicist and mathematician born on January 2, 1822, in Koszalin. He was a citizen of both the German Confederation and the German Empire. Clausius is known for his contributions to the field of mathematics and physics.
Clausius received his education from Humboldt University of Berlin. His work in the scientific field led him to mentor doctoral students, including Carl von Linde. He eventually passed away on August 24, 1888, in Bonn, Germany.
