Ruth Negga

Ruth Negga, born on January 7, 1982, is an Ethiopian-Irish actor. She holds dual citizenship in Ethiopia and the Republic of Ireland. Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Negga is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.

She is known for her roles in various film and television projects, including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Breakfast on Pluto, Passing, Loving, and Misfits. Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades, such as the African-American Film Critics Association, Black Film Critics Circle Awards, Alliance of Women Film Journalists EDA Award, Chicago Film Critics Association Awards, Berlin International Film Festival, Black Reel Awards, and Satellite Awards .
