Sachi Kamiya ( "Sachi" is pronounced like "Versace"). I am a Wall Street credit trader turned web 3 investor. I started this website to share my general observations and learnings within the crypto space.
As a founding member of Polygon Ventures, I led the 100MM ecosystem fund focused on growth across the defi/infra/web3/consumer projects. I was responsible for setting the initial framework for investing and growing the team. I also spearheaded and closed the 500MM raise led by Sequoia, Lightspeed, Softbank, Tiger, Galaxy Digital, and Dragonfly, among other notable VCs within the web 3 space.
At Caltech I majored in electrical engineering— I am a scientist at heart. I lived in four different countries ( Japan, the USA, Venezuela, and Kenya) and speak three languages. During my free time, I enjoy traveling around the world.
Besides Polygon Ventures I am also an angel investor — preferably early stage. I enjoy advising projects on their pitch, GTM strategy, and fundraising.
