Samuel Osmond Barber II was born on March 9, 1910, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He was an American composer and pianist who held citizenship in the United States. Barber studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and West Chester Henderson High School in Pennsylvania.
His music career spanned various genres, including opera, symphony, and he contributed extensively to the music and music industry.
