Samuel Horsley was born on September 15, 1733, in London and was a highly respected priest, mathematician, and physicist during his lifetime. He studied at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and held citizenship in the Kingdom of Great Britain, as well as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Samuel Horsley eventually passed away in Brighton on October 4, 1806.
