Saratov State University, also known as Саратовский государственный университет, is a public educational institute in Russia, with its headquarters located in Saratov. The university was founded in 1909 and has been operating in different countries throughout its history, including the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, and currently, Russia.
The university operates in the education industry, focusing primarily on higher education as a university. It is accredited by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Saratov State University has several affiliations, including Association of Leading Universities, Young Professionals Union, and Research and Educational Theological Association, among others.
It is also affiliated with several other organizations, such as the Association of Classical Universities of Russia, Association of Law Universities, Russian Union of Rectors, Union of University Rectors of the Saratov Region, and Union of University Rectors of the Volga Federal District.
One of its subsidiaries is the Saratov State University Labour Union.
