Savannah College of Art and Design, also known as SCAD, is a private educational institute located in the United States. It has campuses in both Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. Founded in 1978, SCAD is involved in industries such as art, arts education, fine arts schools, education, higher education, and university.
SCAD's motto is "Ars longa, vita brevis", and it is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board, Georgia Professional Standards Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. The institution is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the National Athletic Association.
The Savannah College of Art and Design Bees is a subsidiary of SCAD. Award recipients from SCAD include Zoey Deutch.
