Scintilla Iceland is an Icelandic interior textile design company based in Reykjavik. The company was founded in 2010 by Icelandic fashion and textile designer Linda Björg Árnadóttir. Its products are made from materials like cotton, wool, cashmere, linen, and leather.
Scintilla's offices are based in Iceland, whereas most of its products are manufactured in Europe. The name "Scintilla" was discovered accidentally by the founder from a translation of the Icelandic word ögn. In Latin, it means “a tiny sparkling particle."
