Sempulse's miniaturized physiological monitoring platform is designed to be used in any circumstance where continuous biometric monitoring is essential. Civilian applications include athlete peak performance training, hospitals, EMS, long-term care, telemedicine, and rural health care. The Sempulse solution is equally applicable in monitoring quarantined or isolated service members’ physiological status, providing awareness and alerting to medical personnel, such as in the current COVID-19 pandemic. It delivers end-to-end medical grade vital signs monitoring that automates alerts and information critical to leadership planning, virtual health, and other Air Force use cases. It is lightweight, disposable, cost-effective, and engineered to be used in non-sterile conditions, and to withstand grueling physical exertion, extreme conditions, pressure changes, and vibration. Non-invasive miniaturized sensors adhere behind the ear and wirelessly send biometric data to a tablet-based software, which organizes input from up to 100 users, monitors status, predictively analyzes conditions, automatically prioritizes for emergent needs and records all data for seamless transfer to command. Continuous monitoring allows medical personnel to manage service members remotely, reducing the strain on healthcare resources and limiting exposure to others. Sempulse brings specialized resources to the user, as command and control and specialists anywhere in the world can collaborate via the software.
