Seoul National University (SNU), also known as 서울대학교, is a public university located in the Gwanak District of Seoul, South Korea. It was founded on October 15, 1946. The university's motto is "Veritas Lux Mea".
SNU operates within the higher education, education, and university industries and is involved in electronic design automation. As an educational institute, SNU is accredited by the Korean Council for University Education, the Ministry of Education of Korea, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The university is affiliated with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities.
