Sergey Lavrov

Sergey Lavrov (born March 21, 1950) is a Russian diplomat and politician. Lavrov was born in Moscow and holds citizenship in Russia. He was educated at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

Lavrov serves as the CEO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Russia. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with various awards, such as the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", Order of Merit for the Fatherland in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th class, Order of Honor, and the Stolypin Medal, 2nd class. Lavrov has also received the Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, Order of the Holy Blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow in 1st and 2nd class, Order of Friendship, and Order of Dostyk, 2nd class.
