The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a religious organization founded on May 21, 1863. Its headquarters is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The church was founded by Joseph Bates (Adventist), J. N. Andrews, Ellen G. White, and James Springer White.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has several subsidiaries, including the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and the Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company. The church is also the founder of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency.
