Seville is a city in the south of Spain with a population of about 700 thousand inhabitants. It is located on both banks of the Guadalquivir River. It is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia and the province of Seville. The municipality is part of the Greater Seville district (comarca). According to legend, it was founded by the Greek hero Hercules. The inhabitants of the city are called "Sevillanos" in Spanish.
