SharePoint

SharePoint is a grouping software for Windows Server made by Microsoft, which provides basic portal and intranet functions. It includes portal pages called Web Parts pages composed of Web Parts (developed in ASP.NET), team sites, document libraries, and project subsites, a version-controlled document store, and basic search functionality. Its front end is an ASP.NET website running on Internet Information Services 6.0, and the back end uses SQL Server or MSDE to store data.
