Sibly is a provider of mental health coaching services intended to provide accessible, affordable and effective mental health care for everyone. Sibly is based in San Francisco and Redwood City, California and was founded in April, 2016 by Mohammed AlKadi, Omar AlEisa, and Dr. Paula Wilbourne.
The company's platform provides a text-based service that connects employees with helpful human coaches whenever and wherever they want and uses medically proven frameworks of conversation and machine learning to empower paraprofessionals, overseen by licensed therapists, to step into any conversation at any time and deliver high-quality mental health coaching, enabling users to deepen their understanding of themselves, capitalize on their strengths and improve their well-being. These coaches are led by Dr. Paula Wilbourne, who previously served as the Deputy Director of Addiction Treatment Services at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Sibly offers a relationship to HR resources, improving employee well-being while increasing the engagement and value of existing benefits. They work to build a personal connection with each member through their coaching team. Through these personal connections, the coaches work to help members find the internal motivation to overcome stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, emotional and relationship issues and to help them make sustainable changes in their lives. This can come through Sibly's coaches and their work to understand critical life events and map an effective plan to help users improve well-being.
