Sir George Trevelyan, 2nd Baronet

Sir George Trevelyan, 2nd Baronet (1838-1928), was a British historian, politician, and writer. Born on July 20, 1838, at Rothley Temple, he held dual citizenships in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the United Kingdom. Sir George Trevelyan was the father of Sir Charles Trevelyan, 3rd Baronet.

Trevelyan completed his education at Trinity College, Cambridge. Throughout his life, he worked as a historian, politician, and writer, contributing to various fields of academia and public life.

Sir George Trevelyan passed away on August 17, 1928, in the London Borough of Sutton.
