Siri Hustvedt is a Norwegian-American writer, novelist, and poet, born on February 19, 1955 in Northfield, Minnesota. She holds dual citizenship from both the United States and Norway. Hustvedt is the daughter of Lloyd Hustvedt and the mother of Sophie Auster.
Throughout her educational journey, Hustvedt attended several institutions including, Northfield High School, St. Olaf College, Bergen Cathedral School in Norway, and Columbia University in the United States.
Siri Hustvedt's notable works include "The Sorrows of an American", and she is known for writing novels.
