Smood

Smood is a food delivery service based in Switzerland. It was founded in 2012 by Marc Aeschlimann, who is also the company's CEO. Smood offers home food delivery from over 2,000 connected restaurants in Switzerland and grocery delivery from 80 different Migros locations. Smood also offers a "click and collect" in-person pickup option for restaurant orders. Smood's services are available in multiple cities throughout Switzerland.

In November 2021, some Smood delivery drivers began striking for improved working conditions, asking for sick pay, expense reimbursements, and schedule planning improvements. Reported average wages for a 50-hour work week are CHF 3,000. In December 2021, Migros Zürich terminated its partnership with Smood.
