Softvelum is a developer of streaming infrastructure services, including web services and streaming mobile applications. Softvelum's Nimble Streamer is a livestreaming and live transcoder platform with a series of features through various protocols and codecs. It allows for decoding, transforming, and encoding of live video and audio streams. And it offers users a chance to protect and monetize streams and content, provides server-side ad insertion on live streams, and NDI support.
Another software offered by Softvelum is the WMSPanel, with a single dashboard through which users can manage their Nimble Streamer instances without streaming interruption. This allows users to set up live streaming scenarios and video-on-demand transmuting and manage live transcoder scenarios for live stream transformation. From the WMSpanel, users are also offered a central API to control all servers, define paywall settings, and maintain those servers.
Qosfire is a stream quality monitoring service offered by Softvelum. It helps users ensure their streams are working, that content is consistent, and that streaming protocols are valid. The software has three components: an agent that checks streams using their nodes, a web service console that collects data, and a free application that notifies user devices about any alerts.
