Sogang University

Sogang University, also known as 서강대학교, is a private educational institution located in the Mapo District of Seoul, South Korea. Established on April 18, 1960, Sogang University operates in the fields of education, research, higher education, and is affiliated with the Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia and the International Federation of Catholic Universities. The university's motto is "Be proud of Sogang, as Sogang is proud of you".

As an organization and educational institute, Sogang University has accreditations from the Korean Council for University Education and the Ministry of Education of Korea. The university also has a subsidiary, Sogang University Law School.
