Sourceress

Sourceress is an artificial intelligence recruiter company with the goal of reinventing how people search for jobs. The company was founded in 2015 by Josh Albrecht and Kanjun Qiu in San Francisco, California.

Sourceress uses machine learning models to identify what type of person a company is searching for in a role, the candidates that would ideally match the role, and then engages candidates individually with personal introductions. The platform works with hiring managers to better understand the attributes that are attractive when looking for potential hires, then finds people who either does or can fill these attributes.

The platform is currently capable of searching for people who are experienced in similar fields, and people it thinks can learn a specific job requirement as well as people who entirely fill the job requirements. This is what helps differentiate Sourceress from other startups in the same industry, such as Headstart which deeply involve the candidate to identify a suitable fit.
