Southern University at New Orleans

Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) is a public, educational institute that was founded in 1956. It is located in New Orleans, United States. As part of the Southern University System, SUNO is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, and the National Athletic Association.

The university specializes in higher education, and operating in industries of education and university. It is also designated as a Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). Southern University at New Orleans has received accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Council on Social Work Education.
