American film director and producer
Stanley Kramer (29 September 1913 - 19 February 2001) was an American film producer and director. He was born in Brooklyn and passed away in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. Kramer held American citizenship and worked in the movie, cinematography, and filmmaking industries.
Kramer was educated at DeWitt Clinton High School, New York University, and New York University Stern School of Business. During his career, he directed numerous films, including 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner', 'Inherit the Wind', 'Judgment at Nuremberg', 'The Defiant Ones', and 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World'.
Some of Stanley Kramer's notable works as a film producer include 'High Noon', 'The Wild One', 'Death of a Salesman', 'The Caine Mutiny', and 'Champion'.
