Stanley Norman Cohen (born February 17, 1935) is an American geneticist and physician. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, and holds citizenship in the United States. Cohen was educated at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied medicine and genetics. He went on to pursue a career as an accomplished geneticist and physician.
In recognition of his contributions to the field, Cohen was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2001.
