Steve Ditko (1927-2018) was a renowned comics artist and screenwriter from the United States. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Ditko studied art at the School of Visual Arts. He was also known by the alias Stephen J. Ditko. Created several well-known comic characters during his career, such as Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. Ditko passed away in New York City in 2018.
In addition to Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, Ditko created various popular characters including Captain Atom, Ted Kord, Nightshade (DC Comics), Spider-Man Unlimited, Clea, and Vulture (Marvel Comics).
