Stockholm University

Stockholm University, also known as Stockholms universitet, is a public educational institute located in Stockholm, Sweden. Established in 1878, the university operates in the industries of education, higher education, and is a university. The Ministry of Education and Research of Sweden and the Swedish Higher Education Authority are responsible for its accreditation.

Stockholm University has partnerships with the European University Association and the Open Education Consortium. It is the parent organization to the Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm University College of Music Education, Stockholm University Library, and Stockholm University Student Union.
