Stream Global is a venture capital firm and incubator in Singapore that provides services for Singaporean startups. This government office and private equity firm invests in seed and early stage ventures. It usually invests in seed and Series A rounds. Its portfolio companies include sambaash, a technology company with a digital apps platform, and Stream Media/ MoVend, a global mobile in-app payments solution that aggregates payment providers into a single package.
Stream Global is appointed an incubator under Singapore National Research Foundation (NRF)’s Technopreneur Incubation Scheme (TIS). Under this scheme,it co-invests with NRF in a start-up, where NRF funds 85% (up to S$500K) of the required capital and Stream Global funds the remaining 15% (S$88K). For start-ups which require more than S$588K, Stream Global can work with other investors to provide additional capital beyond TIS.
