Sukhavati Network is a decentralized cloud service network with a focus on storage. Based on Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and Substrate, it implements a storage verification mechanism called EPoSt (Efficient Proof of Spacetime). The network will establish a decentralized data access gateway, covering Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 storage ecosystems to offer unified data storage, retrieval, and management services to Web 3.0 applications.
At the consensus layer, Sukhavati uses proof-of-capacity (PoC) as the consensus mechanism. To be able to establish a consensus, Sukhavati utilizes the capacity power of some existing PoC consensus protocols and uses them as a basis for launching.
At the storage layer, Sukhavati designs a decentralized storage verification mechanism: efficient proof-of-spacetime (EPoSt) based on the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology. EPoSt consists of two challenges: LivingPoSt and WinningPoSt. Storage miners are required to complete the challenges and publish the result to the blockchain to get the incentives. As a result, a number of small devices, like NAS servers at the network edge, are able to participate in Sukhavati’s storage mining and offer computing resources, so far as their CPUs support TEE.
