Sun Yat-Sen University

Sun Yat-Sen University, also known as 中山大学, is a public educational institute founded by Sun Yat-sen in 1924. Initially, it was called National Guangdong University but later named after its founder, Sun Yat-sen. The university is located in Guangzhou, China.

With a focus on education, higher education, university, and electronic design automation industries, Sun Yat-sen University operates under the accreditation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

The institution's motto is "Study Extensively, Enquire Accurately, Reflect Carefully, Discriminate Clearly, Practise Earnestly", emphasizing its commitment to learning. As of now, Sun Yat-Sen University has been granted 30 patents.
