Susanna of Bavaria (1502-1543) was a German princess who played a notable role in the aristocracy. She was the daughter of Albert IV, Duke of Bavaria, and Kunigunde of Austria. Susanna was born in Munich, Germany on February 4, 1502, and she later died in Neuburg an der Donau on April 23, 1543.
Some sources alternatively refer to Susanna's mother as a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick III and Eleanor of Portugal. Susanna held the position of Princess by virtue of her birth and her association with the German aristocracy.
Susanna had multiple children: Marie of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, Albert Alcibiades, Margrave of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, Friedrich von Hohenzollern, and Kunigunde of Brandenburg-Kulmbach. She was the mother of Marie of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, the mother of Kunigunde of Brandenburg-Kulmbach, and the mother of Albert Alcibiades, Margrave of Brandenburg-Kulmbach.
